HEIC to PDF Converter
Make a PDF straight from iPhone photos, such as receipts, documents or a photo set, without converting them to JPG first. It all happens on your device.
How to turn HEIC photos into a PDF
- 1Choose your HEIC photos. On an iPhone, tap the button and pick them from your photo library.
- 2Check the order of the pages and move any photo up or down.
- 3Choose a page size. A4 or US Letter suits documents and receipts you may need to print.
- 4Click “Create PDF” to download one PDF with all your photos.
From iPhone photo to PDF in one step
Many forms, schools and offices ask for documents as a PDF, while an iPhone saves photos as HEIC, a format most Windows PCs and websites still can’t open. This tool reads the HEIC photos directly and puts them into a PDF that opens anywhere, so you don’t need to convert them to JPG first.
Inside the PDF, each photo is stored as a high-quality JPG, because PDF files can’t hold HEIC images. At the default quality you won’t see any difference. Choose “Smaller file” if the PDF has to stay under an upload limit: photos are scaled to at most 2000 px, which is still plenty for reading a document.
Photographing paper documents? Hold the phone straight above the page in good light and fill the frame with it. A4 or US Letter pages with a margin then give a result that looks like a scan and prints well.

Frequently asked questions
Can I make a PDF on my iPhone?
Yes. Open this page in Safari or any other browser, tap “Choose HEIC photos”, select your pictures and tap “Create PDF”. The PDF is saved to your Downloads in the Files app.
Do I need to convert HEIC to JPG first?
No. Add your HEIC photos as they are; the tool reads them directly. JPG, PNG and other images can be mixed into the same PDF too.
What is a HEIC file?
HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is the photo format iPhones and iPads use by default since iOS 11. It keeps photos small, but many Windows PCs, Android phones, websites and apps cannot open it.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs inside your web browser using WebAssembly. Your photos never leave your device, and we never see them.
Is there a limit on the number or size of images?
No. Add as many as you like. Images are processed a few at a time, so very large batches may take a while on older phones, but there are no limits, watermarks or sign-ups.
What happens to photo metadata like location?
Hidden metadata (EXIF) such as GPS location, camera details and timestamps is removed from the images you download. The one exception is an image handed back unchanged because it could not be made any smaller.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. It works in any modern browser on Android, iPhone, Windows, Mac, Linux and ChromeOS.
